The Tribal Tour of Kinnaur and Spiti valley will take
you on an excursion to explore some isolated villages,
situated at the highest elevated point for a settlement
to survive. The tour shall accomplish in 12 days and 11
nights. The route map shall begin from Chandigarh -
Shimla - Sarahan - Sangala - Kalpa - Nako - Tabo - Kibber
- Manali - Chandigarh.
Day 01: Chandigarh - Shimla
Depart from Chandigarh for Shimla, enjoy the nature at
its bliss while driving towards Shimla cutting the mountain,
elevating higher. At arrival you shall be escorted by
our representatives. Check into the hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 02: Shimla
Shimla, was the summer capital of the British during their
rule in India. Explore some lovely hills and induce some
fresh air in you as you breathe in the aromatic surrounding.
Visit the mall road, the town hall, and admire the influence
of British architecture still surviving. One can even
indulge in some shopping, bird watching or just admiring
the nature overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Shimla - Sarahan
Today we shall begin our journey with a 95 Km drive
towards Sarahan perched under the majestic Shrikhand
Peak. At arrival at Sarahan we shall pay our Homage
to dramatic Bhimakali Temple. Later we get enough time
to explore the area. Overnight shall be spent in a rest
house in Sarahan itself.
Day 04: Sarahan - Sangala
Early morning we shall drive towards Sangla, that abodes
some significant structures like the Kamru Fort, now
dedicated in Honor of Kamakshi Temple. Other attraction
includes the Naga Temple Kilba and Sapni. Overnight
stay will be at the guesthouse in Sangla.
Day 05: Sangala
The entire day will be dedicated to explore the
valley of Sangla, we shall visit to Chitkul last village
in the region at the height of 9000 feet above mean
sea level. Later visit Batseri Village. Overnight shall
be spent at Sangala.
Day 06: Sangala - Kalpa
The sixth day of our Journey shall begin with a
drive towards Kalpa renowned for snow peaks, deep gorges
and lush green valley. Kalpa is ideal for all sorts
of adventures including Skiing, and Paragliding etc.
this fairy land abode a 100-year-old monastery in Retong
Peo and the hoy deodhars.
Also enjoy the panoramic view of Kinner Kailash. Overnight
stau will be at the Kalpa Guesthouse.
Day 07: Kalpa - Nako
We shall drive to the beautiful Lake of Nako, situated
at high altitude it has four Buddhist temples. It also
has the first inhabited village of Spiti Valley. Overnight
shall be spent at Nako itself.
Day 08: Nako - Tabo
Today we shall leave to depart for Tabo Monastery, the
Ajanta of the Himalayas, Tabo Chos Khor Monastery was
founded in 996 A.D. also the Tholing Gompa is another
interesting site to visit. The area has many temples
to explore and its untouched beauty is the highlight
of this place. Overnight stay will be in the guesthouse
of the monastery.
Day 09: Tabo - Kibber
On the 9th day of our tour to explore the mountains,
we shall now visit the narrow valley of Kibber. It has
a flourishing cultivation, and 80 houses in the village
made of stone instead of bricks. The Kibber village
is the highest village in the world on. Overnight shall
be spent in the tents at Kibber.
Day 10: Kibber - Manali
We shall drive from Kibber towards Manali. On arrival
check into the Hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 11: Manali
Early morning our excursion to explore the famous temple of Hadimba Devi 400 years old pagoda temple in
Manali, devoted to the wife of Bhim, one of the five
Pandava brothers from the epics of Mahabharata. Later
visit the Old Manali town; Nagar Castle & Vashist
hot springs are other places to visit. Overnight stay
will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Manali - Chandigarh
Depart for Chandigarh, for onward Journey.
