of the almighty. The north India pilgrimage tour is
thus designed to the attainment of solace and an opportunity
to dwell in the lord's name. The 16 nights and 17 days
North India pilgrim tour package will follow the route
map from Delhi - Patna - Bodhgaya - Varanasi - Allahabad
- Ayodhaya - Faizabad - Lucknow - Delhi - Mathura - Delhi
- Haridwar - Rishikesh - Devprayag - Pauri - Delhi.
Day 1: Delhi:
Our representatives will receive you on arrival at the
DELHI AIRPORT and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight
stay will be at the hotel.
Day 2 Delhi- Patna:
After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight
to Patna. On arrival you shall be escorted and transferred
to the hotel. Afternoon can be utilized for sightseeing
of Patna. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Patna.
Day 3 Patna- Bodhgaya:
After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya en-route Nalanda,
The ruins of the world's most ancient university lies
here. Later sightseeing of Rajgir, is a very scenic
place. Rajgir was the capital of the Magadh Mahajanpad
(State) when Patliputra was not formed. This place has
been associated with Lord Buddha and Buddhism. Buddha
not only spent many years in Rajgir but also delivered
sermons here and proselytized emperor Bimbisar at the
Griddhakoota hill.
On arrival check in at Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 Bodhgaya:
After breakfast we shall depart for a half-day sightseeing
of Bodhgaya, the place where Buddha attained enlightenment
under the Mahabodhi tree. Afternoon shall be free for
individual activities. Overnight stay will be at the
hotel.
Day 5-6 Bodhgaya- Varanasi:
Early morning we shall drive to Varanasi- the city
of lord Shiva. At arrival, check in at Hotel for overnight
stay. Early morning we shall drive through city of Ghats
(stone steps) on the banks of the river, and then embark
on a boat excursion on the Ganges. A Brief tryst with
the legendary City of Lights. Varanasi is also the home
to the first Jyotirlinga. For 2500 years, the people
of India have come to Kashi, where life is celebrated
and death is not denied. Also visit at the Varanasi
city, The Vishwanath Temple & The Dugra Temple.
The Benaras Hindu University has an art gallery and
a marble temple. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
After breakfast visit Sarnath 10 Kms from the holy city
of Varanasi, is the blessed locale where more than 2500
years ago Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon,
after attaining Nirvana. The Buddha turned the 12 wheels
of Dhamma at Sarnath. The five disciples who had followed
him were surprised to see the mesmerizing glowing countenance
of Buddha, who convinced them and delivered his first
sermon before them, now termed as Dharamachakra Pravartan.
Day 7 Varanasi- Allahbad:
After breakfast we shall drive to Allahabad that
sprawled along the banks of the fabled Sangam, at the
confluence of the mighty Ganga, the life giving Yamuna
and the unseen Saraswati. At arrival we shall check
in to Hotel. Later we shall leave for the sightseeing
of the famous Allahabad Sangam.
Day 8: Allahbad- Ayodhya- Faizabad
After breakfast drive to Allahabad approx 125 Kms
03 Hours Drive. On arrival check in to Hotel. Later
sightseeing of Allahabad Sangam - Sangam literally means
confluence, & Temples that include the famous Patalouri
temple, Bade Hanuman Mandir, Mankameshwar Temple, and
the Benimadhav temple. Overnight stay will be at the
hotel.
Day 9 Faizabad- Lucknow- Delhi
After breakfast drive to Lucknow, later board the Train
to Delhi. On arrival you shall be escorted and transferred
to Hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Delhi- Mathura
Early morning we shall leave for our excursion of Mathura
- the land where Shri Krishna was born and spent his
youth has today little towns and hamlets that are still
alive with the Krishna legend and still dwell with the
music of his flute. Mathura, a little town on the River
Yamuna was transformed into a place of faith after Lord
Krishna was born here. Vrindavan, a village - once noted
for its fragrant groves, is where he spent an eventful
youth. There are numerous other little spots in the
area that still reverberate with the enchantment of
Shri Krishna. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11 Delhi- Haridwar- Rishikesh:
Early morning we shall depart for Rishikesh en-route
Haridwar. In the land of Haridwar flows the holy river
of Ganga and every pilgrim cry the celebratory exhortation
Har Har Gange, the River Ganga is my temple. Haridwar
is the personification of fervor and energy, taking
a dip in the holy waters of Har ki Pauri is considered
very auspicious. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12 Rishikesh:
After breakfast visit Rishikesh Temples & Sightseeing
of Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir,
Shivananda Ashram, Parmarth Ashram. Be a part in the
evening Aarti on Ghats of Ganges at Parmarth Ashram.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Rishikesh- Devprayag- Pauri
After breakfast drive to Devprayag Visit Sangam Puja
Ceremony and continue drive another 40 Kms Pauri, which
is a Hill station, explore with scenic view of the Himalayas.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Pauri
After Breakfast at Hotel sightseeing of Pauri with visit
to the temples and Khirsu from you have a view of the
Himalayan Peaks. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Pauri- Delhi:
After breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival check in
to an Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 16: Delhi:
At your arrival to the capital, after the boarding and
lodging process you shall be guided to visit the last
city of pre-independent India then known as the 'Lutyen's
city' built by
The British architect Edwin Lutyen in 1911. The main
visiting attractions will include the Rashtrapati Bhavan,
Birla Mandir (Lakshminarayan Temple), and India Gate
that was originally known as "All India War Memorial"
built in honor of the Indian soldiers who lost their
life fighting wars. Also visit an astounding piece of
architecture from the Mughal era - The Humayun Tomb,
marked as the UNESCO world heritage site and the 1st
garden tomb of Indian subcontinent. This Tomb was commissioned
on the orders of Humayun's wife Hamida begum in 1562.After
Dinner assistance and transfer to international airport
to board flight to Home Country.
Day 17: Delhi
Departure from Delhi to destination home.
