in 5 Nights and 6 Days.
Day 1 Gaya- Bodhgaya:
Arrive at Gaya, where our representative will escort you
to the hotel. Bodhgaya has temples ideal for meditations,
we shall thus visit the Thai temple and the Mahabodhi
temple complex. Bodhgaya is a small town in Bihar where
Buddha attained enlightenment and now is the most important
place of Buddhist Pilgrimage, drawing people from across
the globe. UNESCO declares Mahabodhi Temple Complex as
the World Heritage Site. The chants, the meditating monks,
and nuns add on to the spirituality of the entire ambience
of the Temple. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 2 Bodhgaya- Rajgir- Nalanda- Patna:
Early morning we shall drive to Patna en-route sightseeing
of Rajgir. Rajgir abodes the Japanese built Vishwa Shanti
Stupa, where Buddha delivered summons. Other places
include the Venuvan and Saotarangi Cave. Later we shall
also visit Nalanda where one can still find the ruins
of the world-renowned 5th century CE Nalanda University.
Nalanda is a site where Buddha paved several visits
to deliver his sermons and teachings. Overnight stay
will be stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 3: Patna- Vaishali- Kushinagar:
After breakfast we shall drive to Kushinagar en-rout
visit to Vaishali where Gautam Buddha visited in the
fifth year after his attainment of Nirvana. Kashinagar
too holds a significant position in the Buddhist pilgrimage,
as it's a place where Lord Buddha died and attained
Parinirvana. Ruins of several stupas are still to be
found here dating back to 5th century.
Day 4 Kushinagar- Varanasi:
Early morning to Varanasi, the city of lord Shiva and
home of the first Jyotirlinga has some great temples
and equally lavish mythical tales associated with it.
Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 5 Varanasi:
Enjoy boating ride here in the river Ganges. See Aarti
(prayer) of Ganges, in the night this view is really
startling. In the evening visit to Sarnath Temples,
the places where great Budha gave his first sermon.
Other attractions includes the Benaras Hindu University
has an art gallery and a marble temple. Overnight will
be at the hotel.
Day 6: Varanasi Departure:
After breakfast transfer Varanasi airport to board flight
to Home
