Day 1: Delhi - Paro
This fascinating Trek will begin from Delhi, from whereon
we shall board the flight to Paro in Bhutan, on flight
get a bird's-eye view of the Mount Everest, Kanchanjunga
and other branching mountain ranges of the Himalayas.
On arrival, our representative shall escort you. Evening
time shall be spare for leisure activities.
Day 2 : Paro - Thimphu
Early morning begin your journey towards the Capital City
of Bhutan Thimphu, following the winding road along the
Pa Chu down streams to confluence with Wang- Chu the up-valley
to Thimphu. At arrival check into the hotel, after lunch
leave for a city excursion. Visit the Drugyel Dzong (Victorious
Fort of Bhutan) Memorial Chorten, the shrine dedicated
to the Late King, the Tashicho Dzong, the 350-year-old
structure, and the famous Changgankha Monastery. Overnight
stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 3 : Thimphu - Gangtey Gompa
After breakfast we shall leave for Gangtey, passing
through the jungles of Dochu La, from where the Himalayan
Summits are quite evidently visible. En-route visit
to Wangdi situated southeast of Thimphu. Arrive at the
biggest Nyingmapa monastery in Bhutan at the Gangtey
Gompa. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 4: Gangtey Gompa Halt
The fourth day of our trekking can begin with some interesting
activities like, engaging in fishing or just wandering
along the river enjoying every moment of calmness with
a rhythm of the rushing river water. Relish the lunch
at the camp along the river; later leave for some hiking
expedition in the valley nearby. Return to the camp
for overnight stay.
Day 5: Gangtey Gompa - Gogona
Early morning continue trekking towards Gogona, stroll
through the meadows and fields ascending to the Tselela
Pass, renowned for Junipers, bamboo trees, and Rhododendrons.
On arrival at Gogona explore the nomadic settlements
still maintaining the age-old pattern of living. Overnight
stay will be at the camp.
Day 6 : Gogona - Khotokha
The sixth day of our journey will lead to a gentle scramble
to Shobjula at 11,155ft. Later the descend will lead
us to a wide valley evocative of the big sky view of
mountains. Overnight shall be spent at the tent.
Day 7 : Khotokha - Chuzomsa - Wangdi via Niizergang
Nature on this beautiful trek will encounter you
with some more picturesque views, absolutely pleasing
to soul. A short ascend will stroll down to Tashila,
do not forget to fill your water bottle as we cross
by this pass, the following tracts are comparatively
dry. Walk down along the Dang chu vegetations to finally
reach Wangdi Guest House. Overnight will be spent at
the guesthouse.
Day 8: Wangdi - Thimphu
Early morning we shall drive to the Punakha Dzong
situated to the north end of the Punakha valley. Many
monks of Thimphu throughout the winters occupy the Punakha
Dzong. Later return to Dochu La Pass. Thereon continue
drive to Thimpu, if weather is clear, capture the mighty
Himalayas and its equally personified beauty.
Day9: Thimphu - Paro
Early morning drive to Paro International Airport for
onward flight.
