Short and sweet is what can be denoted to describe the
5-Day and 4 night tour that will give you some trekking
experience as well as give you shivering exposure in the
deep dark caves. The route map of this exotic tour
will begin from Guwahati - Cherrapunjee - Krem Mawmluh
Cave - Shillong.
Day 01 : Arrival at Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati, you shall be escorted by our representative
to the hotel. Overnight shall be spent at the hotel.
Day 02 : Guwahati - Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, we shall visit Kamakhya Temple, a main
Hindu Pilgrimage site. Later drive towards Cherrapunjee,
the wettest region in the world, receiving highest rainfall.
En-route visit to Borapani Umiam Lake, a grandiose calm
lake, neighboring sylvan hills Overnight stay will be
in a hotel in Cherrapunjee.
Day 03 : Cherrapunjee
Early morning we shall depart for a full day excursion
of Caves in Cherrapunjee
located westward, adjacent to the small hamlet of Mawmluh. The cave has Passage for five-rivers with striking magnitude.
The length of the cave is over 7 Km. Also visit the
Waterfalls of Cherrapunjee and Double Decker Living
Root Bridge, An engineering wonder of native Khasi Tribesmen.
They used the roots of a tree to weave the routes and
make a bridge across streams. Overnight stay will be
at Cherrapunjee resort.
Day 04 : Cherrapunjee - Shillong
After breakfast we shall drive to Shillong; also identify
as the 'Scotland of the East". En-route visit to
Elephanta falls, and Shillong peak for some breathtaking
views. Stay overnight at hotel in Shillong.
Day 05: Shillong
Early morning we shall utilize the time for some sightseeing
tour of Shillong and capture some beautiful and heaven
like shots to add in you photo portfolio.
By evening we shall transfer you to the airport for
onward journey.
