Camping can never get so adventurous and wild than in
the swampy and wetlands of the Sundarban Jungles. The
camping tours reach its own excitement exploring and trekking
under the nature's authority. The 6 Nights and 7 Days
tour shall begin from an excursion of the city of Kolkatta-
Sunderbans Jungle Camp - Kolkata.
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi- Kolkata
Arrive Delhi, and boardflight to Kolkata from domestic
airport. On arrival at Kolkata, our representative shall
escort you and transfer you to the hotel. Grab some rest
after a long journey.
Day 02 : Kolkata
After breakfast, depart for some sightseeing excursion
of Kolkata. Here visit the magnificent Victoria Memorial,
Fort William, and The Howarah Bridge and relish the
sweetness of kolkata- the Sondesh (desert) and Rosagulla
(desert). Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Kolkata - Sunderbans Jungle Camp
The Sundarbans are the freshwater swampy forest
that gives n unique opportunity to explore the wildlife
on the boat. To have this fascinating experience we
shall transfer to the Sonakhali Jetty through magnificent
countryside, authentic markets, and age-old fishermen
's village. At arrival you shall be briefed and later
leave for a 2 hours spectacular cruise through river
Hogol, Gomor, Drugaduani and Gumdi. Arrive Bali Island
and check into Sunderbans Jungle Camp. Relish the Lunch
at the Camp in beautiful natural surroundings. A game
cruise to Sudhanyakhali watch tower through creeks and
canals will certainly be a adventure of its own definition.
Return to Camp by evening for dinner and overnight stay
at the camp.
Day 04-05 : Sunderbans Jungle Camp
Early morning if the weather permits we shall cruise
to Netidhopani watchtower. Here we can indulge in some
raw activities like crab catching and fishing expeditions
on the frail country boats. Evening return to Camp and
enjoy the local rural theatre performance by the villagers.
The theatre themes are based on the mightiness of the
nature and narrate fables about the Tiger Lord, Forest
God and Goddess, fishermen and honey collectors with
lot of songs and dance. Dinner and overnight stay will
be at the camp.
Following day interact with the villagers and explore
their lifestyle, craft and cuisines of the indigenous
population of the Sundarbans. Enjoy the Canopy walk
and cruise to explore more of the Jungles of Sundarbans.
Overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 06 : Sunderbans Jungle Camp - Kolkata
After spending four night in the jungle of Sundarbans,
return journey to Kolkata. Relax for the entire day
to shed off tiredness. Overnight stay will be at the
Hotel.
Day 07 : Kolkata
Transfer to airport to connect flight for your onward
destination.
