Pilgrimage Tour Package is a 10 nights and 11 days tour
package that will route from Mumbai - Aurangabad - Bhopal
- Agra - Varanasi - Bodhgaya - Patna - Delhi.
Day 1 Arrival at Mumbai:
On arrival at Mumbai, our representative will escort you
and would also transfer you to the hotel. Check into the
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Mumbai- Aurangabad
Early morning depart for Aurangabad, our representative
will transfer you to the hotel, after grabbing some rest,
visit the famous Ellora Caves an epitome of rock cut architecture
style, it was built by the Rashtrakutas. Nominated as
the World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Ellora consists of
34 caves. Also have some spectacular Buddhist Viharas
and Monasteries that dates back to have been built between
5th to 7th centuries. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 3 Aurangabad- Bhopal:
Early morning we shall depart to half-day sightseeing
excursion to Ajanta Caves that dates back to 2nd century.
The rock cut caves of Ajanta consist of paintings and
sculptures that are true masterpieces of both "Buddhist
religious art" and "universal pictorial art."
Later we shall drive to Jalgaon railway station and board
train to Bhopal.
Day 4: Bhopal:
At arrival to the city of Bhopal, our representative will
escort you to the hotel, after some rest, a visit to Sanchi
shall be planned. At Sanchi you will come across several
ruins of Buddhist monuments dating back to 3rd century.
Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 5 Bhopal- Agra:
Next day, drive towards station and board train to Agra.
On arrival at Agra, our representative would transfer
you to the hotel. Check into the hotel and relax. Later,
visit the UNESCO nominated World Heritage Site Taj Mahal-
an epitome of eternal love and Among the Seven Wonders
of the World. Also plan trip to the major tourist attraction
like the Iltamud-Ud-Daula's Tomb and Fathepur Sikri. Stay
overnight at the hotel and relax.
Day 6 Agra- Varanasi:
Early morning we shall depart from Agra to a spiritual
destination, the land of lord Shiva- Varanasi. Here our
representatives shall make all provision for your boarding
and lodging. Enjoy this spiritual excursion of this sacred
land. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 7-8: Varanasi- Bodhgaya
Early morning after breakfast we shall depart for the
most worshipped city for Buddhist- Bodhgaya.
Bodhgaya has temples ideal for meditations, we shall
thus visit the Thai temple and the Mahabodhi temple
complex. Bodhgaya is a small town in Bihar where Buddha
attained enlightenment and now is the most important
place of Buddhist Pilgrimage, drawing people from across
the globe. UNESCO declares Mahabodhi Temple Complex
as the World Heritage Site. The chants, the meditating
monks, and nuns add on to the spirituality of the entire
ambience of the Temple. Overnight stay will be at the
Hotel.
Day 9 Bodhgaya- Patna:
Early morning we shall drive to Patna en-route sightseeing
of Rajgir. Rajgir abodes the Japanese built Vishwa Shanti
Stupa, where Buddha delivered summons. Other places
include the Venuvan and Saotarangi Cave. Later we shall
also visit Nalanda where one can still find the ruins
of the world-renowned 5th century CE Nalanda University.
Nalanda is a site where Buddha paved several visits
to deliver his sermons and teachings. Overnight stay
will be stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 10: Patna- Delhi:
Now, start driving towards airport and board flight
to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, our representative would
transfer you to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel
and relax. If time permits we can have a sightseeing
excursion of Delhi.
Day 11 Delhi Departure.
Next day, get ready for an exciting Delhi tour. Later,
transfer to the airport and fly onwards.
