Day 1: Delhi:
At your arrival to the capital of India- Delhi, our representative,
who will transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay,
will be present to escort you at the airport with a warm
welcome.
Day 2 Delhi:
Early morning, we shall leave for sightseeing of the
historical city of Delhi, that is a congregation of
seven cities built by seven different rulers at different
time and spaces. The most spectacular will be visiting
the monuments of the walled city of Shahjanabad that
includes visit to Red Fort, Chandani Chawk, Jama Masjid
besides this the tallest brick tower of the world Qutub
Minar, will be on the chart. India Gate, Humayun Tomb,
Rashtrapati Bhavan and Lotus Temple will be other attractions
to visit. Overnight will be spent at the hotel.
Day 3 Delhi- Agra:
After break we shall depart to our next destination
to Agra, where we shall en-route our visit to Sikandra,
and move to Agra, where we shall check in to a hotel.
In evening we shall visit the historic and among the
Seven Wonders of the World Taj Mahal an epitome of love.
Overnight will be spent at the hotel.
Day 4 Varanasi:
Early morning we shall check out from the hotel and
travel to Varanasi the city of lord shiva by a convenient
mode of transportation. On arrival we shall check in
to a hotel and leave for a spiritual excursion tour
of Sarnath and also visit several ancient Hindu temples
that embarks the spiritual; existence of Varanasi on
the Indian map since ages. Overnight shall be spent
at the hotel.
Day 5 Varanasi- Bodhgaya:
Early morning after breakfast we shall depart for the
most worshipped city for Buddhist- Bodhgaya.
Bodhgaya has temples ideal for meditations, we shall
thus visit the Thai temple and the Mahabodhi temple
complex. Bodhgaya is a small town in Bihar where Buddha
attained enlightenment and now is the most important
place of Buddhist Pilgrimage, drawing people from across
the globe. UNESCO declares Mahabodhi Temple Complex
as the World Heritage Site. The chants, the meditating
monks, and nuns add on to the spirituality of the entire
ambience of the Temple. Overnight stay will be at the
Hotel.
Day 6: Bodhgaya- Rajgir- Nalanda- Patna
Early morning we shall drive to Patna en-route sightseeing
of Rajgir. Rajgir abodes the Japanese built Vishwa Shanti
Stupa, where Buddha delivered summons. Other places
include the Venuvan and Saotarangi Cave. Later we shall
also visit Nalanda where one can still find the ruins
of the world-renowned 5th century CE Nalanda University.
Nalanda is a site where Buddha paved several visits
to deliver his sermons and teachings. Overnight stay
will be stay will be at the Hotel.
Day 7 Patna- Vaishali- Kushinagar
After breakfast we shall drive to Kushinagar en-rout
visit to Vaishali where Gautam Buddha visited in the
fifth year after his attainment of Nirvana. Kashinagar
too holds a significant position in the Buddhist pilgrimage,
as it's a place where Lord Buddha died and attained
Parinirvana. Ruins of several stupas are still to be
found here dating back to 5th century.
Day 8 Kushinagar- Lumbini
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Later proceed for
the guided sightseeing including, Mahaparinirvana Temple
& Stupas. Later drive to Lumbini. At arrival, check
in to the hotel for some rest. Lumbini - the birthplace
of Lord Buddha. In evening we shall leave for sightseeing
tour of Lumbini including a visit to the birth Place of
Lord Buddha. Overnight will be spent at the hotel.
Day 9 Lumbini- Sravasti
After breakfast at the hotel en-route visit to Sravasti,
the capital of Kosala Mahajanapada , which was the biggest
town in the Gangetic plains during the Buddha's lifetime.
Saravasti was host to the Master for 25 years during the
annual vassavasa (rain retreat) when the Sangha congregated
at one place. The ruins of the past can be not only found
in physical substance but metaphorically in the minds
of the people. Overnight shall be spent at the hotel.
Day 10 Sravasti- Lucknow- Delhi
Early morning we shall check out from the hotel in Sravasti
and drive to Lucknow. After the lodging procedure if time
permits we can explore the city of Lucknow and later depart
to Delhi.
